The Graston Technique is a specific soft-tissue mobilization technique using stainless steel instruments to detect and treat scar tissue and soft tissue restrictions. This gold standard technique uses six stainless steel instruments of different shapes and sizes to fit the body as needed.
Treatment goals and the process of the Graston Technique are to “break up” these adhesions by breaking down the collagen cross-links that have been formed and then to realign them with proper stretching and strengthening. Allowing for better functioning and range of motion.
