Graston

The Graston Technique is a specific soft-tissue mobilization technique in which the Doctor uses a stainless steel instrument to detect and treat scar tissue and soft tissue fascia tissue restrictions. This gold standard technique uses six stainless steel instruments of different shapes and sizes to fit the body as needed.

Treatment goals and the process of the Graston Technique are to first “break up” these adhesions by breaking down the collagen cross-links that have been formed and then to realign them with proper stretching and strengthening.

The Graston Technique can be used through muscles, tendons, and ligaments, and on a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions. The Graston instruments enhance our doctors ability to detect fascial adhesions and restrictions, and have been clinically proven to achieve quicker and better outcomes in treatment.
